7 An Act relating to the Progressing Rural Economic
7 Prosperity Fund; making appropriations; stating
8 purpose; providing an effective date; and declaring
8 an emergency.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Progressing
12
13 Rural Economic Prosperity Fund, created in Section 256 of Title 62
13
14 of the Oklahoma Statutes, from any monies not otherwise appropriated
14
15 from the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal
15
16 year ending June 30, 2027, the sum of Eight Million Dollars
16
17 ($8,000,000.00) for availability of appropriation.

18 SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma
18
19 Department of Commerce from any monies not otherwise appropriated
19
20 from the Progressing Rural Economic Prosperity Fund, created in
20
21 Section 256 of Title 62 of the Oklahoma Statutes, the sum of Eight
21
22 Million Dollars ($8,000,000.00) or so much thereof as may be
22
23 necessary to construct a public safety complex network within a
23
24 thirty-mile radius of a municipality located north of Interstate 40

1 and east of Interstate 44 with a population larger than thirty-five

2 thousand (35,000) residents and below fifty thousand (50,000)
2
3 residents according to the most recent Federal Decennial Census.

4 SECTION 3. This act shall become effective July 1, 2026.

5 SECTION 4. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
5
6 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
6
7 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
7
8 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
