7 An Act relating to the Oklahoma Department of
7 Veterans Affairs; making an appropriation; stating
8 purpose; providing an effective date; and declaring
8 an emergency.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma
12
13 Department of Veterans Affairs from any monies not otherwise
13
14 appropriated from the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for
14
15 the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, the sum of Four Million
15
16 Dollars ($4,000,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to
16
17 provide upgrades to the Department's hardware and software systems.

18 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2026.
18
19 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
19
20 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
20
21 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
21
22 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
