7 An Act relating to the Oklahoma Water Resources
7 Board; making an appropriation; stating purpose;
8 providing for codification; providing an effective
8 date; and declaring an emergency.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
12
13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1085.30b of Title 82, unless
13
14 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

15 A. There is hereby appropriated to the OWRB Revolving Fund from
15
16 any monies not otherwise appropriated from the General Revenue Fund
16
17 of the State Treasury for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, the
17
18 sum of Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) or so much thereof as may
18
19 be necessary to perform the duties imposed upon the Oklahoma Water
19
20 Resources Board by law.

21 B. The appropriated amount in subsection A of this section
21
22 shall be used by the Board to hire an engineer to implement a
22
23 regional water district for Creek and Okmulgee counties.

24 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2026.

1 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation

2 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
2
3 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
3
4 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
