7 An Act relating to administrative rules; directing
7 permanent rules of certain agencies to sunset on
8 certain dates; requiring certain agencies, boards, or
8 commissions to submit their permanent rules to the
9 Legislature for review by certain dates; directing
9 review to be conducted in accordance with certain
10 act; allowing renewal of certain rules for certain
10 time period; providing for codification; and
11 providing an effective date.

14 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

15 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
15
16 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 250.11 of Title 75, unless there
16
17 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
17
18 A. On February 1, 2027, and on February 1 every four (4) years
18
19 thereafter, the permanent rules promulgated by or on behalf of the
19
20 following agencies, boards, or commissions shall sunset, and the
20
21 following agencies, boards, or commissions shall submit to the
21
22 Legislature their permanent rules adopted pursuant to the
22
23 Administrative Procedures Act for review:

5 E. Permanent rules submitted to the Legislature pursuant to the
5
6 provisions of this section:
6
7 1. Shall be subject to the review, approval, and disapproval
7
8 provisions provided for in Section 308 of Title 75 of the Oklahoma
8
9 Statutes; and
9
10 2. May be renewed for additional terms of four (4) years, or
10
11 fewer, by the Legislature by approval and enactment of a joint
11
12 resolution.

13 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
