6                   AS INTRODUCED

7          An Act relating to the Department of Human Services;

7          making an appropriation; stating purpose; providing

8          an effective date; and declaring an emergency.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12  SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Department of

12

13 Human Services from any monies not otherwise appropriated from the
13

14 General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year
14

15 ending June 30, 2027, the sum of Three Million Dollars
15

16 ($3,000,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to provide
16

17 funding to maintain a robust 2-1-1 hotline in this state. Services
17

18 provided by this hotline shall include, but are not limited to,
18

19 support for food, shelter, clothing, transportation, and medical
19

20 needs.

21  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2026.

21

22  SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation

22

23 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
23

1 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and

2 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
