7   An Act relating to the size, weight, and load of

7   vehicles; amending 47 O.S. 2021, Section 14-122,

8   which relates to the apportionment of fees; directing

8   deposit of certain monies in Weigh Station

9   Improvement Revolving Fund; decreasing amount of

9   certain monies to be deposited in General Revenue

10  Fund; updating statutory references; providing an

10  effective date; and declaring an emergency.

13 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
13

14  SECTION 1.     AMENDATORY   47 O.S. 2021, Section 14-122, is

14

15 amended to read as follows:
15

16  Section 14-122. A. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section

16

17 1104 of Title 47 of the Oklahoma Statutes this title, the first
17

18 Twenty Million Dollars ($20,000,000.00) Ten Million Dollars
18

19 ($10,000,000.00) of the following fees shall be deposited in the
19

20 Weigh Station Improvement Revolving Fund created in Section 1167 of
20

21 this title, and the next Ten Million Dollars ($10,000,000.00) of the
21

22 following fees shall be deposited in the General Revenue Fund to be
22

23 apportioned as follows:

1   1. Twenty Dollars ($20.00) of any fee collected for a minimum

1

2 permit fee pursuant to Section 14-116 of Title 47 of the Oklahoma
2

3 Statutes this title;
3

4   2. Five Dollars ($5.00) of any fee collected for excess weight

4

5 pursuant to Section 14-116 of Title 47 of the Oklahoma Statutes this
5

6 title;
6

7   3. Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) of any fee collected

7

8 pursuant to Section 14-120 of Title 47 of the Oklahoma Statutes this
8

9 title; and
9

10  4. One Hundred Twenty Dollars ($120.00) of any fee collected

10

11 pursuant to Section 14-121 of Title 47 of the Oklahoma Statutes this
11

12 title.

13  B. Any fees collected pursuant to Sections 14-116, 14-120, and

13

14 14-121 of Title 47 of the Oklahoma Statutes this title that are in
14

15 excess of Twenty Million Dollars ($20,000,000.00) shall be
15

16 apportioned as otherwise provided for in the sections specified in
16

17 this subsection.
17

18  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.

18

19  SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation

19

20 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
20

21 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
21

22 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
