7   An Act relating to the practice of pharmacy; defining

7   term; designating certain drug as over-the-counter;

8   providing for codification; and providing an

8   effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12  SECTION 1.      NEW LAW     A new section of law to be codified

12

13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 353.22.1 of Title 59, unless
13

14 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

15  A. As used in this section, "over-the-counter medication" means

15

16 medication that may be legally sold and purchased without a
16

17 prescription.

18  B. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, ivermectin suitable

18

19 for human use may be sold or purchased as an over-the-counter
19

20 medication in this state without a prescription or consultation with
20

21 a health care professional.

22  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
