7 An Act relating to the Board of Medicolegal
7 Investigations; making an appropriation; stating
8 purpose; providing an effective date; and declaring
8 an emergency.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Board of
13
14 Medicolegal Investigations from any monies not otherwise
14
15 appropriated from the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for
15
16 the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, the sum of Three Hundred
16
17 Eighty-Nine Thousand Forty Dollars ($389,040.00) or so much thereof
17
18 as may be necessary for the purpose of creating an additional
18
19 investigations district and hiring three additional death
19
20 investigators.
20
21 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
21
22 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
22
23 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
23
24 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
