7 AS INTRODUCED
8 An Act relating to appropriations; making
appropriation to the Oklahoma Military Department;
9 stating amount of appropriation; stating purpose of
appropriation; providing an effective date; and
10 declaring an emergency.

13 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
14 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma
15 Military Department from any monies not otherwise appropriated from
16 the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year
17 ending June 30, 2027, the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
18 ($500,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to support
19 nonprofit organizations dedicated to organizing events for the
20 commissioning of the U.S. naval vessel USS Oklahoma.
21 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2026.
22 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
23 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby

1 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
2 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
