7 An Act relating to rural water districts; amending 82
O.S. 2021, Section 1324.31, which relates to
8 organization of a district; removing certain
limitations prohibiting the organizing of a district;
9 and declaring an emergency.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
12 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 82 O.S. 2021, Section 1324.31, is
13 amended to read as follows:
14 Section 1324.31. Pursuant to the provisions of this act, any
15 corporation which was formed prior to December 1, 1988, may organize
16 and constitute a district subject to the provisions of the Rural
17 Water, Sewer, Gas and Solid Waste Management Districts Act.
18 SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
19 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
20 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
21 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
