designating the Captain Hunter Blaine Memorial
9 Bridge; designating the PFC William Tony Brock
Memorial Highway; designating the SFC Elijah Parish
10 Memorial Bridge; designating the PFC Roy Leon
Sheppard USMC Memorial Highway; designating the
11 Robert L. Campbell Memorial Bridge; designating the
SGT Bedford Lee Drinnon Memorial Highway; designating
12 the Pat Turner Memorial Highway; designating the
Former Mayor Jeff Shockley Memorial Highway;
13 designating the Theresa C. Redwine Memorial Bridge;
designating the PHM1C Charles Douglas Turner Memorial
14 Bridge; designating the Rick Ford Memorial Bridge;
directing markers be placed; amending Section 21,
15 Chapter 484, O.S.L. 2025 (69 O.S. Supp. 2025, Section
1698.495), which relates to the Buddy Murrell
16 Memorial Highway; modifying description of memorial;
providing for codification; and providing an
17 effective date.

20 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
21 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
22 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.501 of Title 69, unless
23 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

1 The bridge on State Highway 7 crossing over Little Beaver Creek
2 in Stephens County shall be designated as the "Captain Hunter Blaine
3 Memorial Bridge". The Department of Transportation shall cause
4 suitable permanent markers bearing that name to be placed on the
5 bridge.
6 SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.502 of Title 69, unless
8 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
9 The section of U.S. Highway 270 beginning at the intersection of
10 State Highway 2 extending west to the intersection of U.S. Highway
11 270 and Shero-Austin Road in Latimer County shall be designated as
12 the "PFC William Tony Brock Memorial Highway". The Department of
13 Transportation shall cause suitable permanent markers bearing that
14 name to be placed on the highway.
15 SECTION 3. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
16 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.503 of Title 69, unless
17 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
18 The bridge on State Highway 1 crossing over Gaines Creek
19 southeast of Hartshorne in Latimer County shall be designated as the
20 "SFC Elijah Parish Memorial Bridge". The Department of
21 Transportation shall cause suitable permanent markers bearing that
22 name to be placed on the bridge.

1 SECTION 4. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
2 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.504 of Title 69, unless
3 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
4 The section of U.S. Highway 75 beginning at the intersection of
5 State Highway 9 in Wetumka extending two (2) miles south in Hughes
6 County shall be designated as the "PFC Roy Leon Sheppard USMC
7 Memorial Highway". The Department of Transportation shall cause
8 suitable permanent markers bearing that name to be placed on the
9 highway.
10 SECTION 5. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
11 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.505 of Title 69, unless
12 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
13 The bridge over Skull Creek on State Highway 16 near Slick in
14 Creek County shall be designated as the "Robert L. Campbell Memorial
15 Bridge". The Department of Transportation shall cause suitable
16 permanent markers bearing that name to be placed on the bridge.
17 SECTION 6. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
18 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.506 of Title 69, unless
19 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
20 The section of State Highway 34 beginning at the intersection of
21 East 970 Road, extending north to the intersection of East 940 Road
22 on the Custer County and Roger Mills County county line shall be
23 designated as the "SGT Bedford Lee Drinnon Memorial Highway". The

1 Department of Transportation shall cause suitable permanent markers
2 bearing that name to be placed on the highway.
3 SECTION 7. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
4 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.507 of Title 69, unless
5 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
6 The section of State Highway 7 beginning at the intersection of
7 U.S. Highway 69 extending west to South Greathouse Drive in Atoka,
8 Atoka County shall be designated as the "Pat Turner Memorial
9 Highway". The Department of Transportation shall cause suitable
10 permanent markers bearing that name to be placed on the highway.
11 SECTION 8. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
12 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.508 of Title 69, unless
13 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
14 The section of U.S. Highway 59 in Poteau beginning east of the
15 Cavanal Scenic Expressway and U.S. Highway 59 interchange extending
16 northeasterly to Beeler Street in Leflore County shall be designated
17 as the "Former Mayor Jeff Shockley Memorial Highway". The
18 Department of Transportation shall cause suitable permanent markers
19 bearing that name to be placed on the highway.
20 SECTION 9. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
21 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.509 of Title 69, unless
22 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
23 The bridge on U.S. Highway 59 crossing over Coal Creek
24 approximately five (5) miles west of the U.S. Highway 59 and U.S.

1 Highway 271 intersection in Leflore County shall be designated as
2 the "Theresa C. Redwine Memorial Bridge". The Department of
3 Transportation shall cause suitable permanent markers bearing that
4 name to be placed on the bridge.
5 SECTION 10. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
6 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.510 of Title 69, unless
7 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
8 The bridge on U.S. Highway 75 on the north side of Atoka
9 crossing over Sand Creek in Atoka County shall be designated as the
10 "PHM1C Charles Douglas Turner Memorial Bridge". The Department of
11 Transportation shall cause suitable permanent markers bearing that
12 name to be placed on the bridge.
13 SECTION 11. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
14 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.511 of Title 69, unless
15 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
16 The bridge on U.S. Highway 59 crossing over Shawnee Creek south
17 of Hodgen in Leflore County shall be designated as the "Rick Ford
18 Memorial Bridge". The Department of Transportation shall cause
19 suitable permanent markers bearing that name to be placed on the
20 bridge.
21 SECTION 12. AMENDATORY Section 21, Chapter 484, O.S.L.
22 2025 (69 O.S. Supp. 2025, Section 1698.495), is amended to read as
23 follows:

1 Section 1698.495. The section of State U.S. Highway 8 64
2 beginning at the intersection of U.S. State Highway 64 8 South
3 extending north five (5) miles to the intersection of E190 Road near
4 Cherokee in Alfalfa County shall be designated as the "Buddy Murrell
5 Memorial Highway". The Department of Transportation shall cause
6 suitable permanent markers bearing that name to be placed on the
7 highway.
8 SECTION 13. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
