6 AS INTRODUCED
7 An Act relating to ivermectin; authorizing
pharmacists to dispense ivermectin without a
8 prescription; providing for immunity; directing for
promulgation of rules; providing for codification;
9 and providing an effective date.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
13 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
14 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 355.5 of Title 59, unless there
15 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
16 A. A pharmacist may dispense ivermectin to a person, without
17 requiring a prescription order from a licensed health care
18 practitioner, in accordance with any written standardized procedures
19 or protocols issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy,
20 including, if required, providing the person with instructions on
21 the proper use of ivermectin.
22 B. Notwithstanding any other law, a pharmacist acting in a
23 reasonably prudent manner is not criminally or civilly liable or

1 subject to professional disciplinary action for dispensing
2 ivermectin in accordance with this section.
3 C. The Board may promulgate rules to implement this section.
4 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
