6 AS INTRODUCED
7 An Act relating to appropriations; stating amount and
purpose of appropriation for workforce development;
8 providing an effective date; and declaring an
emergency.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
13 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma
14 Department of Commerce from any monies not otherwise appropriated
15 from the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal
16 year ending June 30, 2027, the sum of Ten Million Dollars
17 ($10,000,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to enter
18 into contract with a nonprofit entity whose purpose is exclusively
19 charitable and educational, specifically to partner with school
20 districts and agencies to sponsor programs, workshops, and
21 initiatives to eliminate barriers to equitable opportunities and
22 economic mobility for all students in the Tulsa Metropolitan area.
23 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2026.

1 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
2 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
3 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
4 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
