6                            AS INTRODUCED

7   An Act relating to elections; prohibiting persons who

    are a national of any country other than the United

8   States from holding elected office; providing for

    codification; and providing an effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12  SECTION 1.      NEW LAW  A new section of law to be codified

13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-115 of Title 26, unless there

14 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

15  No persons, without regard to whether that person is a United

16 States national, may hold elected municipal, county, state, or other

17 government office in the State of Oklahoma if that person is a

18 national of any country other than the United States.

19  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
