6 AS INTRODUCED
7 An Act relating to the 2030 Decennial Census; making
appropriation; stating amount and purpose; providing
8 an effective date; and declaring an emergency.

13 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
14 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma
15 Department of Commerce from any monies not otherwise appropriated
16 from the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal
17 year ending June 30, 2027, the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
18 ($500,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to prepare for
19 the 2030 Decennial Census including, but not limited to,
20 improvements in technology.
21 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2026.
22 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
23 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby

1 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
2 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
