6 AS INTRODUCED
7 An Act relating to appropriations; making
appropriation to the OTRD; stating amount and purpose
8 of appropriation; providing an effective date; and
declaring for an emergency.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
12 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma Tourism
13 and Recreation Department from any monies not otherwise appropriated
14 from the General Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year
15 ending June 30, 2027, the sum of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand
16 Dollars ($2,500,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to
17 fund the interior and exterior updates, including but not limited to
18 building interpretive spaces and galleries, building, renovating,
19 signage, landscaping, and other associated work at the J.M Davis
20 Arms and Historical Museum.
21 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2026.
22 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
23 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby

1 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
2 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
