6 AS INTRODUCED
7 An Act relating to Oklahoma Agricultural Extension;
prohibiting the required centralization and
8 redirection of local revenues; providing for
codification; and declaring an emergency.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
13 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
14 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3419.1 of Title 70, unless there
15 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
16 No entity or division under the control of the Board of Regents
17 for the Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical Colleges, including but
18 not limited to, the Oklahoma Agricultural Extension Division, shall
19 directly, or as a condition of receiving Oklahoma Agricultural
20 Extension Division services or access to Oklahoma Agricultural
21 Experiment Station programming, require funding generated at the
22 local level be:
23 1. Centralized at the division or station; or

1 2. Directed or expended outside the county in which the funding
2 was generated.
3 SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
4 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
5 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
6 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
