6 AS INTRODUCED
7 An Act relating to appropriations; making certain
appropriation to the Department of Environmental
8 Quality; providing an effective date; and declaring
an emergency.

14 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
15 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Department of
16 Environmental Quality from any monies not otherwise appropriated
17 from the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal
18 year ending June 30, 2027, the sum of One Million Dollars
19 ($1,000,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to perform
20 the duties imposed upon the Department of Environmental Quality to
21 test biosolids by law.
22 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2026.
23 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
24 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby

1 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
2 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
