6                               AS INTRODUCED

7   An Act relating to animals; providing license fees

    for the Commercial Pet Breeders and Animal Shelter

8   Licensing Act; providing for codification; and

    providing an effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12  SECTION 1.         NEW LAW  A new section of law to be codified

13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 30.17 of Title 4, unless there

14 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

15  The State Board of the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food,

16 and Forestry shall charge the following nonrefundable license or

17 renewal fees pursuant to the Commercial Pet Breeders and Animal

18 Shelter Licensing Act:

19  1. One (1) to ten (10) intact female animals: Two Hundred

20 Dollars ($200.00);

21  2. Eleven (11) to twenty (20) intact female animals: Three

22 Hundred Dollars ($300.00);

23  3. Twenty-one (21) to fifty (50) intact female animals: Five

24 Hundred Fifty Dollars ($550.00);

1   4. Fifty-one (51) to one hundred (100) intact female animals:

2 Seven Hundred Dollars ($700.00);

3   5. One hundred one (101) or more intact female animals: One

4 Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00); and

5   6. Animal shelter: Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00).

6   7. If the commercial pet breeder or animal shelter operator

7 submits a renewal application and fee after the expiration date, the

8 commercial pet breeder or animal shelter operator shall pay double

9 the renewal fee as a late charge, and the filing of a late

10 application shall be deemed a violation.

11  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
