6                            AS INTRODUCED

7   An Act relating to state employee compensation;

    providing for salary increase for certain state

8   employees; providing for salary increase based on

    compensation amount; specifying certain employees not

9   eligible for salary increase; providing for

    noncodification; and providing an effective date.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13  SECTION 1.      NEW LAW  A new section of law not to be

14 codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:

15  A. Effective July 1, 2026, each state employee who was in full-

16 time status as of June 30, 2026, shall receive a salary increase of

17 eight and five-tenths percent (8.5%) on salary not in excess of

18 Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000.00) or two percent (2%) on salary

19 in excess of Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000.00).

20  B. The provisions of this section shall not be applicable to

21 any person employed by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher

22 Education or employed by any college or university within The

23 Oklahoma State System of Higher Education.

1   C. The provisions of this section shall not be applicable to

2 any person employed by a common school district.

3   SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
