7 AS INTRODUCED
8 An Act relating to state government; requiring all
state agencies and public schools to only purchase
9 Oklahoma beef; providing for codification; and
providing an effective date.

13 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
14 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
15 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 12101 of Title 74, unless there
16 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
17 All state agencies and public schools that purchase beef in any
18 manner shall only purchase beef that meets the definition of
19 Oklahoma certified meat as defined in Section 6-214 of Title 2 of
20 the Oklahoma Statutes.
21 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
