6                                AS INTRODUCED

7   An Act relating to agricultural education; amending

    47 O.S. 2021, Section 1104.3, which relates to the Ag

8   in the Classroom Education Revolving Fund; increasing

    the fee allocated to the fund from the Agricultural

9   Awareness license plates; allowing appropriation and

    receipt of other monies to the fund; requiring

10  certain monies to be expended for program expansion;

    and providing an effective date.

    BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

    SECTION 1.      AMENDATORY     47 O.S. 2021, Section 1104.3, is

15

    amended to read as follows:

    Section 1104.3. A. Twenty-four Dollars ($24.00) Twenty-seven

17

    Dollars ($27.00) of the fee authorized by Section 1135.5 of this

18

    title for Agricultural Awareness license plates shall be deposited

19

    to the Ag in the Classroom Education Revolving Fund created in

20

    subsection B of this section.

    B. 1. There is hereby created in the State Treasury a

22

    revolving fund for the State Department of Agriculture to be

23

    designated the "Ag in the Classroom Education Revolving Fund". The

1 fund shall be a continuing fund, not subject to fiscal year

2 limitations, and shall consist of all monies received by the

3 Department pursuant to the provisions of subsection A of this

4 section, appropriated or apportioned by the Legislature and received

5 as federal grants or funds, municipal contributions, private

6 contributors, and received from other sources, for duties associated

7 with this act. All monies accruing to the credit of such fund are

8 hereby appropriated and may be budgeted and expended by the

9 Department for the purpose of Ag in the Classroom Education Program.

10 Expenditures from the fund shall be made upon warrants issued by the

11 State Treasurer against claims filed as prescribed by law with the

12 Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services for

13 approval and payment.

14  2. All monies received by the Department above Twenty-four

15 Dollars ($24.00) of the fee for the Agricultural Awareness license

16 plates shall be allocated toward the expansion of the Ag in the

17 Classroom Education Program into urban areas.

18  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
