7 An Act relating to poor persons; defining terms;
establishing Medicaid reimbursements; providing for
8 codification; and providing an effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
12 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 4005 of Title 56, unless there
14 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
15 A. For the purposes of this section:
16 1. "Cognitive assessment and care planning services" shall have
17 the same meaning of the services described in accordance with the
18 following Current Procedural Terminology billing code, 99483, as
19 established by the American Medical Association;
20 2. "Contracted entity" shall have the same meaning as provided
21 by Section 4002.2 of Title 56 of the Oklahoma Statutes; and
22 3. "Oklahoma Medicaid Program" means the state program
23 administered by the Oklahoma Health Care Authority pursuant to
24 Section 1002 of Title 56 of the Oklahoma Statutes.

1 B. The Oklahoma Medicaid Program or contracted entity shall
2 provide reimbursement for such benefits that are delivered through
3 cognitive assessment and care planning services.
4 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
