7 An Act relating to health insurance; amending 36 O.S.
2021, Section 6903.1, which relates to exemption of
8 certain domestic health maintenance organizations
from certain provisions of the Health Maintenance
9 Organizations Act; updating exemptions; and providing
an effective date.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
13 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 36 O.S. 2021, Section 6903.1, is
14 amended to read as follows:
15 Section 6903.1. A. Domestic health maintenance organizations
16 that contract with the Oklahoma Health Care Authority to provide
17 basic health services to Medicaid recipients and that do not provide
18 basic health care services to any other group of persons shall be
19 exempt from the following provisions of Sections 6911, 6914, 6915
20 and 6932 of this title:
21 1. Sections 6058, 6058A, 6059, 6060, 6060.1, 6060.2, 6060.3,
22 6060.3a, 6060.4, 6060.4a, 6060.4b, 6060.5, 6060.5a, 6060.6, 6060.7,
23 6060.8, 6060.8a, 6060.8b, 6060.9, 6060.9a, 6060.9b, 6060.9c, and
24 6060.9d of this title;

1 2. Section 6911 of this title; and
2 3. Section 6915 of this title.
3 B. The exemptions listed in subsection A of this section shall
4 apply only to the services provided to Medicaid recipients pursuant
5 to Section 4002.2 of Title 56 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
6 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
