An Act relating to appropriations; creating the
8 Oklahoma Space Renaissance Act; making various
appropriations to the Oklahoma Space Industry
9 Development Authority; setting appropriation amounts;
providing for use of appropriations; providing for
10 noncodification; providing an effective date; and
declaring an emergency.

14 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
15 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
16 codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
17 This act shall be known and may be cited as the "Oklahoma Space
18 Renaissance Act".
19 SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma Space
20 Industry Development Authority from any monies not otherwise
21 appropriated from the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for
22 the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, the sum of One Million Three
23 Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,300,000.00) or so much thereof as may

1 be necessary to perform the duties imposed upon the Oklahoma Space
2 Industry Development Authority by law.
3 SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma Space
4 Industry Development Authority from any monies not otherwise
5 appropriated from the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for
6 the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, the sum of Thirty-five Million
7 Dollars ($35,000,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to
8 accomplish infrastructure investments at the Oklahoma Air and Space
9 Port to support testing and launching of spacecraft and for science,
10 technology, engineering, and math (STEM) engagement activities.
11 SECTION 4. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma Space
12 Industry Development Authority from any monies not otherwise
13 appropriated from the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for
14 the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, the sum of Fifteen Million
15 Dollars ($15,000,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to
16 accomplish infrastructure and programmatic investments in a
17 microgravity research consortium focused on applied science for
18 commercialization activities at the Oklahoma City Innovation
19 District in partnership with Oklahoma-based independent research
20 institutes.
21 SECTION 5. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
22 SECTION 6. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
23 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
24

1 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
2 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
