6                   AS INTRODUCED

7   An Act relating to economic development; making

    appropriation to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce;

8   stating amount; providing for use of funds in

    cooperation with Community Development Financial

9   Institutions; providing an effective date; and

    declaring an emergency.

13 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

14  SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma

15 Department of Commerce from any monies not otherwise appropriated

16 from the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal

17 year ending June 30, 2026, the sum of Thirty Million Dollars

18 ($30,000,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to implement

19 a program in cooperation with Community Development Financial

20 Institutions which are certified by the United States Small Business

21 Administration to provide loans to small business entities.

22  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.

23  SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation

24 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby

1 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and

2 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
