10  An Act relating to definitions and general

    provisions; amending 25 O.S. 2021, Section 1201, as

11  amended by Section 4, Chapter 365, O.S.L. 2024 (25

    O.S. Supp. 2024, Section 1201), which relates to

12  definitions of discrimination; defining term; and

    providing an effective date.

16 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

17  SECTION 1.      AMENDATORY  25 O.S. 2021, Section 1201, as

18 amended by Section 4, Chapter 365, O.S.L. 2024 (25 O.S. Supp. 2024,

19 Section 1201), is amended to read as follows:

20  Section 1201. In Section 1101 et seq. of this title, unless the

21 context otherwise requires:

22  1. "Antisemitism", as defined by the International Holocaust

23 Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), is a certain perception of Jews, which

24 may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical

1 manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-

2 Jewish individuals or their property, toward Jewish community

3 institutions and religious facilities. For the purposes of this

4 section, Oklahoma adopts the working definition and examples of

5 antisemitism by the IHRA;

6   2. "Discriminatory practice" means a practice designated as

7 discriminatory under the terms of this act;

8   2. 3. "Equal", with reference to sex as defined in Section 16

9 of this title, shall not be construed to mean same or identical, and

10 to differentiate between the sexes shall not necessarily be

11 construed to be treating the sexes unequally;

12  3. 4. "National origin" includes the national origin of an

13 ancestor; and

14  4. 5. "Person" includes an individual, association,

15 corporation, joint apprenticeship committee, joint-stock company,

16 labor union, legal representative, mutual company, partnership,

17 receiver, trust, trustee, trustee in bankruptcy, unincorporated

18 organization, any other legal or commercial entity, the state, or

19 any governmental entity or agency.

20  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
