7 An Act relating to poor persons; permitting
municipalities to make certain purchases from their
8 budgets; providing for codification; and providing an
effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
12 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3500 of Title 56, unless there
14 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
15 Municipalities shall be permitted to use funds from their
16 general revenue budgets for the purpose of purchasing one-way bus
17 tickets out of the State of Oklahoma for persons without a permanent
18 residence.
19 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
