6                            AS INTRODUCED

7   An Act relating to appropriations; creating the

    Emergency Management Funding Modernization Act of

8   2025; making an appropriation; establishing amount,

    source, and purpose; providing for noncodificaiton;

9   providing an effective date; and declaring an

    emergency.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13  SECTION 1.      NEW LAW  A new section of law not to be

14 codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:

15  This act shall be known and may be cited as the "Emergency

16 Management Funding Modernization Act of 2025".

17  SECTION 2.      NEW LAW  A new section of law not to be

18 codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:

19  There is hereby appropriated to the Department of Emergency

20 Management from any monies not otherwise appropriated from the

21 General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year

22 ending June 30, 2026, the sum of Six Million Dollars ($6,000,000.00)

23 or so much thereof as may be necessary to perform the duties imposed

24 upon the Department of Emergency Management by law.

1   SECTION 3. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.

2   SECTION 4. It being immediately necessary for the preservation

3 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby

4 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and

5 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
