6                   AS INTRODUCED

7   An Act relating to appropriations; creating the

    Oklahoma Workforce Education Partnership Revolving

8   Fund; providing funding sources; declaring purpose of

    fund; providing an effective date; and declaring an

9   emergency.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13  SECTION 1. There is hereby created in the State Treasury a

14 revolving fund for the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology

15 Education to be designated the "Oklahoma Workforce Education

16 Partnership Revolving Fund". The fund shall be a continuing fund,

17 not subject to fiscal year limitations, and shall consist of all

18 monies received by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology

19 Education from monies appropriated or apportioned by the Legislature

20 and gifts, donations, and bequests. All monies accruing to the

21 credit of said fund are hereby appropriated and may be budgeted and

22 expended by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology

23 Education for the purpose of expanding career technology education

24 as determined by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology

1 Education using critical occupation data. Expenditures from said

2 fund shall be made upon warrants issued by the State Treasurer

3 against claims filed as prescribed by law with the Director of the

4 Office of Management and Enterprise Services for approval and

5 payment. The provisions of this section shall cease to have the

6 force and effect of law on July 1, 2030.

7   SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.

8   SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation

9 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby

10 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and

11 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
