6                            AS INTRODUCED

7         An Act relating to appropriations; making

          appropriations to the Oklahoma Department of

8         Commerce; establishing amounts; identifying source;

          providing purposes; providing an effective date and

9         declaring an emergency.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13  SECTION 1.      NEW LAW        A new section of law not to be

14 codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:

15  There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma Department of

16 Commerce from any monies not otherwise appropriated from the General

17 Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year ending June,

18 30, 2026, the sum of Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000.00) or so much

19 thereof as may be necessary to provide for or facilitate the

20 construction of needed HAZMAT facilities at an industrial park in

21 this state, in an effort to secure the health and safety of the

22 residents of the state located near and potentially impacted by

23 large-scale economic activity likely to occur at such an industrial

24 park.

1   SECTION 2.       NEW LAW  A new section of law not to be

2 codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:

3   There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma Department of

4 Commerce from any monies not otherwise appropriated from the General

5 Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year ending June,

6 30, 2026, the sum of One Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars

7 ($1,400,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to provide

8 for or facilitate the operation of needed HAZMAT facilities at an

9 industrial park in this state, in an effort to secure the health and

10 safety of the residents of the state located near and potentially

11 impacted by large-scale economic activity likely to occur at such an

12 industrial park.

13  SECTION 3. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.

14  SECTION 4. It being immediately necessary for the preservation

15 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby

16 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and

17 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
