6                              AS INTRODUCED

7   An Act relating to transportation; requiring Oklahoma

    Department of Transportation consult with State

8   Legislature on certain plan priorities; requiring

    Department make certain presentation; providing for

9   codification; and providing an effective date.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13  SECTION 1.      NEW LAW    A new section of law to be codified

14 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 4014 of Title 69, unless there

15 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

16  In addition to all other sources of information used when

17 updating the Oklahoma Department of Transportation's Eight-Year

18 Construction Work Plan, the Department shall consult with the

19 members of the State Legislature regarding construction priorities

20 for the Plan. The consultation process shall include, but may not

21 be limited to, a presentation of the Plan to relevant legislative

22 committees allowing an opportunity for legislators to provide

23 feedback, recommendations, and priorities from their districts for

24 consideration in the plan.

1   SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
