7   An Act relating to state government; defining term;

    prohibiting use of state funds for designated

8   purposes; prohibiting display of certain flags on

    state property; providing for codification; providing

9   an effective date; and declaring an emergency.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13  SECTION 1.         NEW LAW  A new section of law to be codified

14 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 13001 of Title 74, unless there

15 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

16  A. As used in this section, "agency" means any agency, board,

17 commission, department, or other state government entity created

18 pursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma Constitution or the

19 Oklahoma Statutes.

20  B. No funds may be used by any agency to develop, organize,

21 administer, engage in, promote, or endorse any activity, including

22 any event, initiative, official communication, social media post,

23 educational program, or public campaign, that aims to promote or

1 recognize Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex

2 Pride Month or any event with a similar theme.

3   C. No flag that represents sexual orientation or gender

4 identity may be displayed by an agency on state property or grounds.

5   SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.

6   SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation

7 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby

8 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and

9 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
