AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation to protecting certain employ-
ees from a reduction of wages due to their involvement in the investi-
gation of a violation of a workplace violence protection program
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Subdivision 6 of section 27-b of the labor law is amended
by adding a new paragraph d-1 to read as follows:
D-1. NO EMPLOYEE WHO ACCOMPANIES THE COMMISSIONER ON AN INSPECTION,
PARTICIPATES IN A RISK EVALUATION AND DETERMINATION INSPECTION, OR
PARTICIPATES IN AN ANNUAL PROGRAM REVIEW SHALL SUFFER ANY REDUCTION IN
WAGES.
§ 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
