reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee
AN ACT to amend the tax law in relation to making technical changes
thereto, and to amend chapter 371 of the laws of 2020 amending the tax
law relating to authorizing the town of Newburgh to impose a hotel and
motel tax, in relation to the effectiveness thereof
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1202-gg of the tax law, as added by chapter 371 of
the laws of 2020, is renumbered section 1202-gg-2.
§ 2. Section 2 of chapter 371 of the laws of 2020 amending the tax law
relating to authorizing the town of Newburgh to impose a hotel and motel
tax, as amended by chapter 322 of the laws of 2023, is amended to read
as follows:
§ 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be
deemed repealed on December 23, [2025] 2027.
§ 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
