VETO MESSAGE - No. 105 TO THE ASSEMBLY: I am returning herewith, without my approval, the following bill: Assembly Bill Number 7235, entitled: "AN ACT to amend the executive law, the state finance law and the public authorities law, in relation to establishing expanded construction mentorship opportunities for small and minority and women-owned business enterprises" NOT APPROVED The bill would expand construction mentorship programs aimed at supporting small businesses and minority and women-owned business enter- prises (MWBEs). I support the goals of this bill, which are rooted in ensuring that the state can provide all small businesses with the skills and opportu- nities given to them to continue grow.
