Allows individuals to register in the donate life registry through mandatory personal income tax electronic tax filings

Allows individuals to register in the "donate life registry" on any mandatory electronic personal income tax filing.

VETO MESSAGE - No. 43 TO THE ASSEMBLY: I am returning herewith, without my approval, the following bill: Assembly Bill Number 7011-A, entitled: "AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to allowing individuals to register in the "donate life registry" through mandatory electronic personal income tax filings" NOT APPROVED This bill would include mandatory electronic personal income tax filings as an approved method by which individuals could register as an organ, eye, and/or tissue donor. I support the goal of this bill, which is to expand opportunities for New Yorkers to register to become organ, eye, and/or tissue donors through New York's Organ Donor Registry.
