MISSISSIPPI LEGISLATURE 2026 Regular Session To: Local and Private Legislation By: Representative McGee House Bill 4115 (As Sent to Governor) AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG, MISSISSIPPI, TO ENTER INTO A LONG-TERM LEASE AGREEMENT FOR A TERM NOT TO EXCEED 30 YEARS FOR THE LEASING OF CITY-OWNED PROPERTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, are authorized, in their discretion, to enter into a long-term lease agreement for a term not to exceed thirty (30) years for the leasing of city-owned property. SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
