ENROLLED HOUSE BILL No. 4189

AN ACT to amend 2001 PA 142,
entitled “An act to consolidate prior acts naming certain Michigan highways; to
provide for the naming of certain highways; to prescribe certain duties of the
state transportation department; and to repeal acts and parts of acts and
certain resolutions,” (MCL 250.1001 to 250.2092) by adding section 1051.

The People of the State of
Michigan enact:

Sec.
1051. (1) The bridge on South Grand Avenue over highway I-96 in the village of
Fowlerville shall be known as the “LCpl Michael W. Hanks Memorial Bridge”.

(2) Subject to section 2, a sign designating the location of
the “LCpl Michael W. Hanks Memorial Bridge” must be placed at the approach of
the bridge on highway I-96.

(3) The state transportation department shall coordinate with
the Livingston County road commission in placing an appropriate sign
designating the location of the “LCpl Michael W. Hanks Memorial Bridge” at each
approach of the bridge on South Grand Avenue.

This act is ordered to take
immediate effect.
