Section 1 of Chapter 50 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 official edition, is amended by striking out the text contained in lines 129 to 136, inclusive, and further; by striking out the text “(ii) absent from the commonwealth; or” contained in line 137, and further; by striking out the subsection label “(iii)” in line 138 and inserting in place thereof the label:- “(ii)”.
