Section 131 3/4 of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following paragraph:- “Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, any firearm purchase limitations set forth in the roster shall not apply to retired law enforcement officers who posses a Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) Qualification Card, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 926C. Said purchaser shall be required to present their LEOSA Qualification Card to a seller at the time of purchase.”
