Chapter 18 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 official edition, is herby amended by inserting after section 5L the following section:- Section 5O. Electronic Benefit Transfer Cards; Photo Identification Requirement. All electronic benefit transfer cards shall include a clear photo of the authorized user. The Department of Transitional Assistance shall verify identity with a valid U.S. passport, Social Security card, or Massachusetts driver’s license.
