An Act amending the charter of the town of Hudson, the official text

	SECTION 1. Section 1-2 of article 1 of the charter of the town of Hudson, which is on file in the office of the archivist of the commonwealth, as provided in section 12 of chapter 43B of the General Laws, is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 2. The second sentence of the second paragraph of subsection (d) of section 3-4 of article 3 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 3. Subsection (e) of said section 3-4 of said article 3 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant”, each time they appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 4. The second sentence of subsection (g) of said section 3-4 of said article 3 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 5. Subsection (h) of said section 3-4 of said article 3 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 6. Subsection (a) of section 3-7 of said article 3 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 7. Article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the title and inserting in place thereof the following title:- TOWN MANAGER.
SECTON 8. Subsection (a) of section 4-1 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant”, each time they appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 9. Subsection (b) of said section 4-1 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 10. Section 4-2 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant”, each time they appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 11. Subsection (a) of section 4-3 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 12. The first sentence of subsection (c) of said section 4-3 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 13. Section 4-4 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the title and inserting in place thereof the following title:- ACTING TOWN MANAGER.
SECTION 14. Said section 4-4 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby further amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 15. Section 4-5 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the title and inserting in place thereof the following title:- REMOVAL OF TOWN MANAGER.
SECTION 16. Subsection (b) of said section 4-5 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 17. Subsection (c) of said section 4-5 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTON 18. The first sentence of subsection (d) of said section 4-5 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant’s ” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager’s .
SECTON 19. The second sentence of said subsection (d) of said section 4-5 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant”, each time they appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- town manager. 
SECTION 20. The first sentence of subsection (e) of said section 4-5 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 21. Subsection (h) of said section 4-5 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 22. The second sentence of subsection (i) of said section 4-5 of said article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant”, each time they appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 23. The first paragraph of section 5-1-2 of article 5 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 24. Section 5-2 of said article 5 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 25. The fourth paragraph of section 5-4 of said article 5 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant”, each time they appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 26. The first sentence of the fifth paragraph of said section 5-4 of said article 5 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant’s ” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager’s .
SECTION 27. Section 6-2 of article 6 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 28. Section 6-3 of said article 6 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant”, each time they appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 29. The first paragraph of section 6-4 of said article 6 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant”, each time they appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 30. The first paragraph of subsection (a) of section 6-5 of said article 6 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 31. Subsection (b) of section 6-6 of said article 6 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 32. The first sentence of section 6-7 of said article 6 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 33. Section 6-8 of said article 6 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant”, each time they appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 34. Section 6-9 of said article 6 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “executive assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 35. The first sentence of subsection (a) of section 8-7 of article 8 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “Executive Assistant” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- town manager.
SECTION 36. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
