SECTION 1. Subsection 2 of section 44D of chapter 149 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the fifth sentence, in lines 66-67, inclusive, and inserting in place thereof the following sentence: An application for a certificate of eligibility and update statements shall be public record as defined in section 7 of chapter 4 except that financial information contained in the application shall not be a public record. SECTION 2. Subsection 12 of said section 44D, of said chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the fifth sentence, in lines 279-281, inclusive, and inserting in place thereof the following sentence: Applications for a certificate of eligibility and update statements shall be public record as defined in section 7 of chapter 4 except that financial information contained in the application shall not be a public record.
