Section 15 of Chapter 60 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the final paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following:- “The collector may, in his discretion, waive such interest, charges and fees, up to 50% of the total tax liability for any given tax period.”
