Section 9B of Chapter 90B of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the second sentence in line 4 and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- All persons who operate a jet ski, surf jet or wetbikes shall be required to participate in a regulated mandatory training program before operating such watercraft; provided, however, that the director of said division shall establish the program criteria and content and shall determine the minimum safety skills necessary for said persons to operate such watercraft.
