Section 45 of chapter 152 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word 'forfeited' in line 13 the following sentence: - "If, as a result of the examination, the registered physician determines that the employee is fit to return to work and the employee refuses to return to work, his right to compensation shall be suspended, and his compensation during the period of suspension may be forfeited.”
