Chapter 269, of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 official edition, is hereby amended by adding the following section: Section 14C: Whoever willfully harms, or commits serious bodily injury directly or indirectly to any public employee, public defender, employee of the District Attorney's office, probation officer, or any member of the court system, shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for not more than two years or by a fine of not more than two thousand dollars.
