SB3223 Enrolled LRB104 18559 AAS 32002 b 1 AN ACT concerning regulation. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Pharmacy Practice Act is amended by adding 5 Section 45 as follows: 6 (225 ILCS 85/45 new) 7 Sec. 45. Pharmaceutical recall notice sign-up. Every 8 pharmacy licensed in this State shall post in a conspicuous 9 place near the pharmacy counter and drive-up window, a sign 10 that includes a QR code informing patients of the ability to 11 sign up for medication recalls via the United States Food and 12 Drug Administration website. The Department may adopt rules 13 necessary to implement this Section. 14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January 15 1, 2027.
