2 An act relating to a review under the Open Government
3 Sunset Review Act; amending s. 252.385, F.S., which
4 provides an exemption from public records requirements
5 for the addresses and telephone numbers of persons
6 provided public emergency shelter and held by the
7 agency that provided the emergency shelter; deleting
8 the scheduled repeal of the exemption; providing an
9 effective date.

11 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

13 Section 1. Subsection (5) of section 252.385, Florida
14 Statutes, is amended to read:
15 252.385 Public shelter space; public records exemption.—
16 (5) The address and telephone number of a person provided
17 public emergency shelter during a storm or catastrophic event
18 and held by the agency, as defined in s. 119.011, that provided
19 the emergency shelter is exempt from s. 119.07(1) and s. 24(a),
20 Art. I of the State Constitution. [This subsection is subject to]
21 [the Open Government Sunset Review Act in accordance with s.]
22 [119.15 and shall stand repealed on October 2, 2026, unless]
23 [reviewed and saved from repeal through reenactment by the]
24 [Legislature.]
